Sensitive fields are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM); passwords and PINs are hashed with Argon2id and are never stored in plaintext.
Data is stored in the EU (Turso, EU region). We use the European Central Bank (via Frankfurter) for exchange rates and, if you use it, the external Apekaner network for interbank payments. These receive only the data necessary for the specific operation.
We keep account and transaction data for the life of your account and for the period required by applicable law. When you delete your account, personal data is erased promptly, subject to legal retention obligations.
